Preschool Goals

1. To encourage children to explore their environment

2. To encourage positive social interaction with their peers

3. To continue to promote literacy skills through the use of singing, reading, games, circle time and art.

4. To continue to develop fine motor and gross motor skills.

5. To continue to develop self help skills ( cleaning up after self, dress/ undress, and potty)

6. To continue to nurture the physical and emotional growth of the child.

Our Daily Schedule

• 7:00-8:30 - Arrival/Breakfast/Organized Free Play

• 8:30-9:30 - "Handwriting Without Tears" and other curriculum activities and Fine motor activities.

• 9:30-9:45 - Large Group Singing/Music and Movement

• 9:45-10:00 - Morning meeting/Daily Job selection

• 10:00-10:15 - Morning Snack

• 10:15-10:30 - Circle Time/Story Time

• 10:30-11:00 - Learning Centers/Daily Lesson/Art Activies

• 11:00-11:30 - Outdoor Play/Gross Motor activities

• 11:30-11:45 - Potties and hand washing/Fine motor activities

• 11:45-12:30 - Lunch

• 12:30-2:30 - Nap/Rest time

• 2:30-3:00 - Wake up/Fine Motor activities/Potties & Hand washing

• 3:00-3:20 - Afternoon Snack

• 3:20-3:45 - Story Time

• 3:45-4:15 - Outdoor Play/Gross Motor Activities

• 4:15-5:00 - Organized Free Play/Music & Dance/Games

• 5:00-6:00 - Movie Time/Fine Motor activities
