Two Year Old Room Goals
To encourage children to explore their environment.
To encourage social interaction with their peers.
To promote beginning literacy skills through the use of singing reading and games.
To continue to develop selfhelp skills ( feeding/drinking self, dress/undress, potty if appropriate, using words)
To continue to nuture the physical and emotional growth of the child.
Two Year Old Daily Schedule
7:00-8:30 - Breakfast and Structured Free Play
8:30-9:15 - Diapers and Potty
9:15-9:30 - Jobs/Calendar/Story Time
9:30-9:45 - Singing with Toddlers (T&TH) or Three's (M,W,F)
9:45-10:15 - Snack and getting ready to go outside
10:15-10:45 - Outside Play (weather permitting) or Gross Motor Play
10:45-11:00 - Diapers and Potty/Structured Free Play
11:00-11:30 - Art
11:30-11:45 - StoryTime
11:45-12:15 - Lunch
12:15-2:30 - Nap
2:30-3:00 - Diapers and Potty/Structured Free Play
3:00-3:15 - Snack
3:15-3:30 - Story Time
3:30-6:00 - Structured Free Play (including games, stories etc.)
